Please note that our Back to School Newsletter will be sent to parents on Monday August 18th.  Our school guidance counselors and school staff do not begin the school year until Tuesday September 2nd, 2025.

Our Welcome Day for new students will take place on Wednesday August 27th, for new registrations only.  

Students with special needs will have an opportunity to meet their resource teacher on August 27th, and will receive communication directly from the teacher.  

School transportation is organized from the Ottawa Transportation Authority (OSTA).  Information on busing can be found on their website ottawaschoolbus.ca .  Please note information is currently being updated and you may not be able to access information until after August 18th, 2025.  

OCtranspo Presto passes are also provided by OSTA based on your grade and km from school.  The school is not the decider or provider of bus passes.  

The NU2U uniform shop is looking for unifom donations to ensure there is inventory for families prior to the school year. All donations can be dropped off at the Bilberry door entrance of the school starting Monday August 19th 2024.

Students new to St. Matthew are invited to an opportunity to tour the school.

Our NU2U used uniform shop will be available.  As uniform supply is limited, you may visit the NU2U shop at any time.  You do not need to wait for your tour time slot.  Please note that the NU2U shop is cash only. Please check your email for further information about the date and time slots.

St Matthew High School is a uniform school.  Students are required to wear uniforms from our Top Marks supplier.   If you are planning to attend St Matthew and  would like more details about our school uniform, please check out our School Uniform under Student Life.

Our School Hoodies can only be purchased from Houle Sports in Orleans.  You are welcome to order online and have one ready for the upcoming school year. Tiger Hoodies cannot be purchased by other suppliers.  **Tiger jogging pants can be worn for gym or sports games but are not a daily part of the uniform.

Our Grade 12 students are welcome to buy a Grad Hoodie, purchased from Houle Sports in Orleans.  Any other supplier offering school wear or Grad hoodies will not be accepted as part of the school uniform.  You must order in person from Houle at this time.
