Summer Enrichment opportunities

posted May 22, 2018, 11:25 AM by St. Matthew High School   [ updated May 22, 2018, 11:26 AM ]

Last Wednesday, several students attended a presentation regarding a unique enrichment opportunity planned for the summer of 2019 .

SHAD is Canada's premier summer residential enrichment program focused on math, science, engineering, arts and entrepreneurship. Participants spend 27 days in July living in residence at one of our Canadian host universities and engage in transformative experiential learning. SHAD is an unparalleled opportunity for youth to be inspired by a community of like-minded peers and gain insight into areas of study they haven't encountered before. We nurture their initiative, skills, values and desire to solve important problems. It's the pre-university experience of a lifetime but the benefits don't end when participants leave their campus. There are internships, scholarships, campus clubs, network opportunities, and venture capital funding that are only available to SHAD Fellows. You can learn more at /www.shad.ca
