School Policies Safe and Inclusive School Policies Bill 13: Accepting Schools Act - Information for Parents The documents below are fluid and will change over time as they are periodically reviewed, amended and updated. OCSB Bullying Prevention & Intervention Plan Safe School Lockdown Fact Sheet Equity and Inclusive Education As a school community we recognize that all people are created in the image and likeness of God and, as such, all people have the right to be treated with dignity, respect, and fairness. Our goal is to create a school environment where all individuals are treated with respect and dignity regardless of race, ancestry, place of origin, colour, ethnic origin, citizenship, creed, sex, sexual orientation, age, or disability. As stated in the policy, reasonable religious accommodations shall be considered to allow an individual to practice a recognized religion. Parents or their children must inform the teacher(s) in advance of religious observances that are likely to conflict with classes and assessment activities. The provision of religious accommodation does not exempt the student from course requirements. St. Matthew's Equity and Inclusive Education Plan Parents are encouraged to review the Safe and Inclusive Schools information that is posted on the Board website. | Student Services News
